Create a Meta Business Manager from scratch

Use this SOP only if you don't have a Business Manager yet. Once it's created, come back to SOP 02 to share access with us.

You need a personal Facebook account to create a Business Manager. If you don't have one, create a basic Facebook profile first before starting this process.

Go to business.facebook.com
Open your browser and navigate to business.facebook.com. Click Create Account.

Fill in your business details
Enter your business name, your name, and your business email. Use your professional email, as this is what Meta will use for all billing and notifications.

Confirm your email address
Meta will send a confirmation email. Open it and click Confirm. Your Business Manager is now created. You will be taken into the Business Settings dashboard.

Add your Facebook Page
In Business Settings, go to Accounts, then Pages, then Add. Select Add a Page you own. If you don't have a Page yet, select Create a New Page and follow the prompts.

Create your Ad Account
Go to Accounts, then Ad Accounts, then Add, then Create a New Ad Account. Name it after your business, set your time zone and currency, then confirm.

Add your payment method
Go to Billing and Payments inside your new ad account. Add your credit or debit card. Set a spending limit to control your budget during the initial launch phase.

Add Leadfins as a Partner
Go to Users, then Partners, then Add, then Give a partner access to your assets. Enter our Leadfins Business Manager ID 1430759234892114, then assign Ad Account and Page access.

Confirm on Slack
Send us your Ad Account ID and Page name on Slack. We will verify access and confirm we are ready to launch.

Things to keep in mind

Use your real business name. Meta may request verification documents later if you scale spend.

Your time zone and currency cannot be changed after the ad account is created. Choose carefully.

New ad accounts have low initial spending limits. These increase automatically as your account history builds.
